A good read on programming language design

I think wrapping your head around the expression problem is a very important step for anybody willing to learn about programming language (and program) design. These are two articles from the same series that were some of the best finds for me.

I’d recommend you read more of Ted Kaminsky’s articles if you’re interested in this stuff. I really hope he eventually gets around to publishing his book, I’d like to own a copy for sure.
